*️⃣ Heritage Tours 004 *️⃣ Rowan Chitania & Howard Rudge *️⃣ Pembroke Town Walls We invited historian Howard Rudge, of Pembroke Town Walls Trust, to the Old Kings Arms Hotel in Pembroke to discuss the origins of the town walls, their importance in history, and the gruesome methods used to defend them. We examine the monumental plans to renovate the walls to their former glory, the Tabernacle Church pilot project, the challenges facing the restoration, and potential to stimulate tourism beyond the castle and into the town.
