CAREW CHERITON CONTROL TOWER
About Carew Cheriton Control Tower
On 16th February 2019 a group of young people from the Tanyard Youth Project visited the Carew Cheriton Control Tower group and had a guided tour of the buildings and museum. This was extremely enjoyable and most informative, and the presenters really brought their stories to life with their own memories and anecdotes from the war.
"The best thing about Carew Cheriton Control Tower was when people dressed up and we got to see what they used to wear. It was also good when we got to try doing the Morse Code on the real machine from the war". (E, age 15)
Our young people took lots of photographs and you can find some of these in our gallery on the Who We Are page.
